Where I draw SOME inspiration

Sometimes you’re having such a busy week, its almost impossible to find the time to draw some inspiration from an intellectual conversation with a friend. Since this is almost impossible, you will agree that reading a book from cover to cover will also be one of those ” I really cannot do this” things.

Where friends and books fail and time is of the essence, I have found a trusty source. Ted.Com! How genius?? I mean, I can choose what I want to hear, from who and how long I want them to inspire me for. I can pause them in mid conversation without having them take offense. I can disagree in peace. I can even replay some potent parts of the conversation and “favorite” the talk for future reference.

The content on Ted.com never ceases to amaze me. It really opens you up to a different way of thinking, you gain so much perspective and learn that your way is not the only way to see the world. Last week I went on, I felt I was lacking some intellectual stimulation and humour in my life. This tax legislation can sometimes suck the life out of you haha…

So this is what I found! Enjoy, and I hope you have your mind blown!

Being picky and not willing to settle is very important.

Absolutely!! It’s the only way THE ONE will show themself. You do yourself a huge disservice by being a person who settles for anything in life. Greatness never comes from settling!
